Basic PL/1 Programming

COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course is designed to instruct participants in the efficient use of the PL/1 language. Basic concepts of program design, programming techniques, file organisation and management will be covered.
The full PL/1 language specification will be introduced, including use of built-in functions. On completion participants will be capable of writing programs with a PL/1 facility for both business and scientific purposes.
INTENDED FOR
Trainee Programmers and Systems Analysts requiring basic PL/1 program knowledge, and those Programmers requiring an additional language.
