Controlling costs in business is the key to profitability. This package is designed to exploit the personal computer by recording and reporting costs across the many diverse and dynamic needs of cost management.

Whilst this system will operate as a stand-alone package, it will also integrate with other Axiom-MSS products such as Stock Control, Production Control, MRP (Materials Requirements Planning), thus providing input to this package and solving the complete costing problem.

• Categories, rates, transaction types for jobs etc, can be set up by the user and where changed through "Next Charge", costs can be consolidated thus provided a "top to bottom" approach
• The system accepts the charges and credits that a business can envisage, for example currencies, accruals, rents, etc
• The reports are comprehensive and simple to understand, yet provide flexibility to satisfy the most discriminating user

A Closer Look

The system is set up to include types of jobs, categories or expense and transaction types using a code file. Formulas including percentages and budgets can be constructed using this file. By way of separate data files, comprehensive environments can be set up to cover most situations, e.g. one job, many transactions or many jobs with fewer cost classifications. The choice is yours to flexibly but precisely control costs.
